Our client is a leading sustainability consultancy combining energy, climate change, environmental and chemical risk expertise with strong IT and economics capability. They are currently looking for an Analyst Consultant – Air Quality Monitoring - to join their Team. 

 

Role

As an Analyst Consultant, your responsibilities will include producing research and analysis that underpins our consultancy work. You will manage your time across several projects and business areas, contributing in all phases - from supporting the preparation of proposals to win new contracts, through researching and analysing information and data, to contributing to reports that are delivered to clients.

 

You will be responsible for the quality and delivery of your work, and will liaise with other consultants to incorporate your contribution into wider project outputs. We expect Analysts to have, or be keen to develop, technical expertise in air quality.

 

Requirements

  • A Bachelors (2.1 or above), Masters or PhD in a scientific subject
  • Competency in at least one technical area and prepared to grow expertise in other related areas.
  • Strong numeracy skills and a talent for numerical analysis essential preferably including 'R'
  • Good IT skills in commonly used software, e.g. Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral and basic presentation skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Self-reliance and good problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility, resilience and enthusiasm
  • Strong team working skills
  • Relevant work experience is an advantage, but not essential
