Driver Hire & dh Recruitment are searching for an assistant transport manager to work for a reputable company in Horsham, West Sussex. 

This role will begin on an ongoing temporary basis but could lead to a permanent position depending on performance. 

Job Spec

• Monday to Friday.
• 08.30-17.30.
• Assisting the Transport manager with general day to day duties. Some examples of this can include things such as; ensuring all drivers and members of the team adhere to all company rules and regulations surrounding drivers hours, tachograph's, vehicle checks etc. Being on hand to handle queries from the team whilst out completing daily routes. Maintaining an excellent level of customer service and sticking to all deadlines around drivers licence details such as Driver CPC & Tachographs.
• Starting in February 2020.
• £20,000-£24,000 per annum.

Job Requirements

• Some previous experience working in a transport role and have a basic understanding of legislation around Tachographs, EU Drivers Hours, O Licences & working with a fleet of vehicles/drivers.
• Either have own transport or being very local to Horsham, West Sussex.
• Ability to work well as part of a small team.
