THE JOB TITLE: Key Account Manager

THE PRODUCT: Automotive Refinish Products

THE SALARY PACKAGE: Up to £65,000 Basic + Bonus + Car + Benefits

THE LOCATION: Midlands / Southern England

THE COMPANY:

As one of the major suppliers of automotive refinish products across the South of England, this organisation is already highly successful at what they do. To grow even further they are now looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic individual who can work as a key account manager to take control of the highest profile customers.

 

THE ROLE OF A KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER:

Working closely with the sales director, your responsibility will be to oversee the management and development of high value target accounts consisting of large independent and regional body shops.

Working across the whole distribution area and with an extensive branch network backing you up, you will be utilising your account management skills in looking after current accounts, while also have the opportunity to develop new business.

This role also represents a great step into sales management as you will hold responsibility over a number of branch-based field sales executives, helping to guide them in their day to day activities and support you as and where needed.

This role is about quality calls and building long-term relationships that will ensure the business brought in by these key accounts in considerable.


EXPERIENCE IDEALLY REQUIRED FOR A KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER:

Working at this level within the refinish market obviously requires an in-depth knowledge of it. Having a background at either distribution or manufacturer / supplier level is ideal along with a strong understanding of how a bodyshop operates.


Your personal characteristics are equally as important, with the key attributes being the drive and determination to grow business within a competitive marketplace.
