Job Title: Warehouse and FLT Tutor
 
Location: Croydon

Salary: £28,000

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Essential Criteria:

• RTITB registered Forklift Truck (counterbalance) instructor
• A minimum of a level 3 teaching qualification such as PTLLS/AET etc.
• Experience of delivering Warehouse & Storage AND/OR Forklift Truck Operations (counterbalance) at level 2 (with occupational competency in both sectors in order to deliver both)
• Experience of coaching/mentoring learners with mixed abilities
• Experience of delivering classroom based training

 
Duties include:

• Train, support and assess learners in a classroom based setting working towards Warehouse & Storage and FLT qualifications at level 2, in a classroom / group setting.
• Identify and assess the needs of learners, overcome any barriers to learning and adapt course content and delivery style to meet these needs.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
• Support, advise and motivate learners.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.

Personal Skills:

• Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively
• Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
• Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners
