Systems Engineer - Network Infrastructure, Windows, VMWare, Azure

This is a permanent position, paying £42-47k, based onsite in Farnborough, Hamps.

Working in a small team and responsible for Infrastructure and Network support as well as running projects to improve the current infrastructure across an integrated architecture, within both Datacentre and Cloud environments.

You will have expertise in 3^rd line server support within Windows environments, strengths in Active Directory, VMWare, some knowledge of storage management and ideally some Powershell and Azure commercial exposure. In addition to this you will need to have an appreciation for network infrastructure, with a good grasp on LAN/WAN, Routers and Switches, Load Balancers and Firewalls. There is a little Linux within the environment, so any ability in supporting CentOS or Ubuntu is an added bonus!

Being a small team, the client is looking for a real team player, someone who is adept at running infrastructure projects but can also help across server support and even support the desktop team if required. You will liaise within internal stakeholders across the business and share ideas on tooling, best practice and approach to better infrastructure support and management.
