Job Title: Warehouse and Logistics Tutor / Assessor
 
Location: Greater Manchester and surrounding

Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 (Dependent on qualifications and experience)

Package: Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Mileage + Much More

Type: Full Time, Permanent
 
Essential Criteria:

• Hold a recognised Level 3 Teaching qualification: PTLLS/AET or equivalent.
• IT Literate and ideally hold an ICT level 2 qualification - or have experience / confident with online delivery due to Covid-19.
• Candidate competence should cover a combination or ideally all of the following qualifications: Warehouse and Storage, Delivering Goods by Vehicle (DGV), Delivering Goods by Road, Logistic Support Operations.
• Experience of delivering both classroom and work-based training.
• Experience of teaching / delivering Functional Skills English and Maths to level 2.
• Good understanding of Ofsted requirements.
• Have the ability to inspire and motivate learners.
• Driver with own vehicle, and flexible with travel

Duties include:

• Train, support and assess learners working towards the following qualifications at Level 2; Warehouse & Storage, DGV and Logistics in a classroom / group setting - online or F2F.
• Deliver and support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to level 2
• Identify and assess the needs of learners, overcome any barriers to learning and adapt course content and delivery style to meet these needs.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
• Support, advise and motivate learners.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.

Personal Skills:

• Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively
• Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
• Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners
