Job Title:  Retail and Admin Assessor / Trainer
*Trainee or Qualified Assessor Opportunity*

Location: Kent and London - Must be flexible with travel

Salary: £25,500 - £29,000 (Dependent on qualifications & experience)

Package: Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Mileage, Pension + more

Type: Full Time, Permanent

*Full training and support will be given to Trainee Assessors to achieve their Assessor Award*

Essential Criteria for all candidates:

  • Hold solid occupational experience of working within a Store Manager / Deputy Store Manager role together with occupational competency in Business Administration.
  • Confident to deliver Functional Skills to Level 2 in Maths and English
  • Full driving licence and use of own vehicle.
  • Flexibility is required with working hours and travel, as and when required to meet learners needs.
  • Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
  • Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
  • Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners

Desirable:

  • Assessor Award (CAVA/TAQA/A1).
  • Level 3 Award in Education & Training

Duties:

  • Assess and support learners working towards full Apprenticeships in Retail, Business Administration and Team leader to Level 3. 
  • Deliver full training and support learners through Functional Skills – Maths and English up to level 2.
  • Delivering completely online due to Covid-19 with a view to returning to online and visiting/observing learners in their place of work, once restrictions are lifted, to gather evidence towards their QCF Diploma.
  • Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
  • Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
  • Support, advise and motivate learners.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
  • Work to learner review and completion time-scales.
  • Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.
