RFIC / MMIC Engineer

Permanent – £50,000 to £75,000 basic salary (subject to experience) plus competitive benefits package including generous bonus scheme

RFIC / MMIC Design Engineer with experience in Analogue and Mixed Signal design, from front-end to back end, and in GaAs / GaN semiconductors required by entrepreneurial, high potential start-up company based in Cambridgeshire. The MMIC Design Engineer will play a critical role in the development of a range of products with broad commercial applications in the communication sector and gain exposure to RF / microwave / mmWave technologies in a highly collaborative and innovative company of world leading experts in this field.

Key skills:

• Master’s Degree in Electronic Engineering or higher (ie. PhD)
• 5+ years of experience in RFIC / MMIC design.
• Experienced user of EDA tools for design and verification, preferably Cadence Virtuoso, although other tools will be considered
• Knowledge of GaAn / GaS semiconductor properties and processes
• Experience in front-end to back-end IC design, layout and verification
• Excellent communication skills and a good team player.
