THE SALARY PACKAGE: c£35,000 Basic + Bonus + Vehicle + Benefits
THE LOCATION: Newcastle Upon Tyne
THE ROLE OF A BRANCH MANAGER:
As a branch manager you will be overseeing and responsible for the day to day running of the branch.
In charge of a team including parts advisors, warehouse and delivery drivers you will roll your sleeves up and get stuck in to all parts of the job, whether directing the branch operation, getting stuck in with customers, or helping out in the warehouse. As a branch manager, you are expected to lead from the front, motivating your team on to even greater success.
Working closely with the local business development manager, you will put together a plan to grow existing business while also looking at new customers, all with the objective of growing branch turnover.
It is down to you to motivate, lead and inspire the staff force to come together as a team.
EXPERIENCE IDEALLY REQUIRED FOR A BRANCH MANAGER:
A background in or knowledge of automotive parts management would be ideal along with good working knowledge of commercial vehicle parts. As everyone within the team deals with customers you need to have this experience in your armoury!
Within this role, you will need strong leadership skills and all of the attributes required to manage a branch and lead a team.
Someone who is able to balance good and efficient operations with front of house sales is required.
