The Job

We are looking to recruit a Cell Leader to be accountable for the Warehouse's performance in line with defined Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery KPI achievement and improvement plans. The Cell Leader will take ownership of the Warehouse's activities for "people", "process" and "system/data management" and develop a culture of Continuous Improvement.

Main duties will be to: -

• Strengthen the Warehouse organisation demonstrating strong leadership to ensure, effective recruitment and selection, objective setting, competency and organisation development;
• Create and develop dedicated teams to adequately solve problems in conjunction with other key stakeholders;
• Support team members through active listening and coaching, respects others and shares and celebrates success within the cell and beyond
• Ensure action plans are in place for the development/training and motivation of team members
• Support team members with the performance review process
• Ensure that the Manufacturing facility fully complies all procedures governing safety
• Ensure all aspects of inventory receiving, control, logistics, value, storage, movement are always controlled with the Production Service Level Agreements.
• Ensure the internal supply chain is run efficiently and under strict process adherence.
• Oversee the Kitting and Goods-In functions: fast, efficient and accurate service levels are required together with process adherence whilst developing and sustaining continuous improvements connected to all aspects of Warehouse operations.

Skills and Experience

• Significant experience of managing large multi skilled workforce in a Warehouse environment is essential
• 5 years' experience of leading, motivating and developing a team
• Demonstrated history of leadership skills including coaching, mentoring, performance management and recruitment
• Strong track record of delivering results in a Warehouse environment
• Experience of working with and implementing Lean principles

*Working shift patterns. Current 3 shift rotating, after Covid probably reverting to 8am-4pm
