The Role

The Technical Lead, as a key leadership team, will drive and shape the technical approach to bidding for, winning and then delivering in support of the MoD requirements. The Technical Lead will have or develop excellent insight into the customer's own technical strategy and will work closely with colleagues in the team and the Engineering and CTO teams.

Main Duties: The technical Lead's key tasks are those of a technical expert working closely and collaboratively with colleagues to shape and implement the technical strategy for the client. Examples of those tasks include but are not limited to:

• Research and understand the MoD drivers and strategy for Digital and Information Technologies and the emerging requirements of the DIPS competition
• Research and understand the clients UK's capabilities
• Assessment and selection of private sector partners and suppliers
• Clear briefings for colleagues and senior executives
• Roadmaps for developing and/or scaling capabilities from the current phase of the competition through to operational delivery of the contracted professional services
• Technical leadership for the current team

In all cases, the Technical Lead will be expected to work collaboratively and in line with the highest standards of the client's culture and ethos with colleagues. Senior technical stakeholder engagement, informing and maintenance of technology roadmaps aligned to the business need.
