Responsibilities:

• Develop designs for substation physical and/or protection & control design projects
• Physical design to include raceways, yard layouts, grounding, power systems, bills of material, and lightning protection
• Protection and control design to include single and three-line diagrams, DC elementaries, AC schematics, relay panel wiring and arrangements
• Perform power system modeling using software such as SKM, ETap, PSS/E, and ASPEN
• Develop proection and control relay settings and any needed programming
• Complete projects for cooperatives, municipalities, and utilities
• Correspond/meet with client representatives if needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from accredited program
• 1+ years' related experience
• Must be proficient with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving/analytical skills
