The QA Manager will be responsible for mitigating all risks associated with the business. They will need to ensure compliance with any certification that the company requires, namely ISO9001:2015, ISO13485:2016, and ISO14001:2015. They will also need to lead all high-profile quality investigations where necessary and be customer-facing in all matters relating to quality. In addition the QA manager will be required to facilitate and support the professional development of QA and QC staff.

Job responsibilities:

• Maintain and review the company's Quality Management System and Environmental Management System
• Ensure all quality problems are investigated and resolved, and the log and all reports are up to date.
• Ensure all equipment is calibrated
• Ensure the business processes fulfil ISO requirements
• Ensure all processes are regularly audited (1^st party audits)
• Lead 2^nd and 3^rd party audits as necessary
• Provide reports and analyses of quality data to top management when requested

Experience Required

• Experience in manufacturing
• Experience with administering an ISO9001 QMS
• Experienced in 8D reporting
• Experienced with using MS Excel
• Ability to build good inter-personal relationships
• Demonstrable people and project management skills
• Guiding/taking part in audits

Desirable Experience

• Experience in electronic manufacturing
• Experience with transitioning from ISO9001:2008 to ISO9001:2015
• Experience with ISO14001
• Experience with ISO13485
• Experience with implementing Q-Pulse
• Leading 1st, 2^nd, and 3^rd party audits
