FPGA Engineer for DSP

FPGA engineer for DSP, we also have positions in FPGA for Antenna Arrays and Communications Algorithms. You will be working with one of the premier R&D consultancies in the UK as a subject matter expert in FPGA design and DSP.

This is an exciting and flexible workplace, offering a range of projects, a healthy mix of problem solving, innovation and high quality engineering for a range of customers including the MOD, research groups, Universities and private customers.

Due to the nature of some projects you will need to currently hold, or be eligible for, SC clearance.

Essential Skills:

• Strong DSP algorithm development skills

• Experience of FPGA, SDR (Software Defined Radio) or DSP platforms

• Experience of algorithm modelling

• Experience of Embedded C/C++

Desirable Knowledge:

• Knowledge of radio systems

• Knowledge of one or more defence disciplines, such as Electronic Warfare, Signals Intelligence, Radar, or GNSS.

• Experience of Python in the use of test scripts and/or post-data processing
