Description

Ths is a a great opportunity to join a strong Transmission and Distribution Group for an experiecned Transmission Engineer. Suitable candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Strong technical leadership for OH TL design teams on 69kV to 500kV projects

• Able to create designs independently using adept Engineering skills

• Performing quality reviews

• Capable of communitcating with engineering lead and project manager for any indetified changes to project scope.

• Communicate clearly all technical risks that are possible on projects

• Providing feedback and keeping to project schedules while keeping a focus on project budgets

• Working with the project team to run training where needed and creating that content if required.

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering Degree or related degree from an ABET accredited program.

• Civil Engineering Degree or related Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited program and pass of Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.

• Master Degree in Civil Engineering can be substituted for 1 year of experience.

• At least 3 years of transmission engineering experience within consulting preferred.

• FE or EIT preferred.

• 3+ years experience in Standard civil/structural engineering techniques and procedures

• Main Software skills with experience in some preferred (e.g. AutoCAD, MicroStation, BIM (Revit), Civil 3D, PLS, PLS-CADD, RISA-3D, MathCADD
