1. Series development, series support and further development of the steering gear component including control of the interfaces to the BMW project structure (module/product line) and the suppliers:

2. Determination and project planning of adaptation requirements due to changes in the modular system (via synchronous round with BMW - specialist department).

3. Project and validation planning.

4. Supplier management incl. implementation of the SE regular meetings.

5. Coordination of functional change requirements with the process partners

6. Creation of technical solutions that meet the requirements of the specific product, including industrialization planning with the suppliers.

7. Optimization of quality and costs of already released scopes.

8. Geometric integration of changes

9. Implementation of all release and equipment scopes

10. Control of the E/E sub-project manager for the required E/E scopes with regard to E/E development and validation scopes per I-stage and the required specifications (including test specifications), which are necessary for the release of the steering gear component.

11. Control the procurement for special requirements

12. Management of an interdisciplinary team from the concept phase to series production.

13. Responsible for project planning, control and tracking.

14. Central coordinator of suppliers, design, package, validation, purchasing, trial, quality and assembly.

15. Preparation of quotation documents and requirement specifications.
