1-2-1 Teaching Assistant needed Immediately, Middlesbrough

Hello Education is looking to appoint a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join our successful supply team and work in a Specialist school in Middlesbrough. This is a fixed Teaching Assistant role, which will commence immediately and end at the Christmas break.

The desired Teaching Assistant will focus on delivering interventions to a male pupil with Special Educational Needs including Autism, whilst also providing general classroom support. Working as part of a dynamic and creative team, the Teaching Assistant will be required to work 1-2-1 with the pupil who is known to have challenging behaviour.

This SEND school is looking for a committed and successful Teaching Assistant to join their motivated team. The school has fantastic facilities and is in the centre of the local community.

 To be considered for the role, the TA will:

• Hold a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Childcare
• Have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in a SEN environment
• Genuine desire to become part of a committed team of the school staff
• Be experiences in working with small groups and a 1-2-1 basis
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (willing to obtain)
• Team Teach Trained
