Funding Assurance Officer - Apprenticeships

• Responsible for undertaking an unbiased review on the management, governance, compliance and control processes operated by our client.
• Undertake internal audits in accordance with an Internal Audit strategy; ensuring that all delivery and data capture is compliant with ESFA funding rules.
• Prepare and provide a detailed report of findings following audits, which will include suggested improvements and actions
• Responsible for working with relevant areas of the business to provide the necessary training and support to address and ultimately reduce risk to the organisation.
• Support with the cross-examination of PDSAT and FRM reports.
• Regularly review internal policies and process guidance, ensuring they are accurate and relevant.

Essential Criteria:

• Must hold a strong, working knowledge of funding rules for Apprentices and additional learning programmes.
• The ability to complete accurate analysis of information.
• Must be computer literate.
• Must be a confident and professional communicator.
