Senior Quantity Surveyor - Water Sector

I'm currently looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join my client in a permanent role within the water sector.

They are looking for someone with excellent commercial knowledge, and perhaps someone who has started out working for a contractor and ended up working in a client side role giving them experience on both sides of negotiating project costs.

This is a Senior role so with that you would be expected to have a level of team management experience, whether that's 2 to 3 surveyors on a project or a large team of surveyors.

There is a definite emphasis on flexible working with my client and work-life balance is promoted within, so there will be opportunities to work from home even when the pandemic is over.

My clients head office is in Reading, though you will be given the opportunity to base yourself at any office within the Thames Water region, including Thames Valley as long as you are able to attend the occassional meeting at the Reading head office.

In this role you will be part of the operations team working on planned maintenance schemes with a value up to £4m.

You will be responsible for a £40m portfolio of work.

- Car allowance of £4.5k

- 18% pension (If you contribute 6% my client will match that and then double it to 12%)
