A Cisco Network Support Analyst is required for a global client in the retail sector based in Fareham, Hampshire.

For this position the Cisco Network Analyst will be responsible for the maintenance and ongoing support of a Cisco network environment. You will have responsibility for both hardware & software support of Cisco including Cisco switches/routers, Cisco WLC & Cisco call centre telephony. You will also have hands on experience with TCP/IP, WAN/LAN support, Meraki and Palo Alto firewalls. The successful candidate will be involved with firewall management and configuration and have responsibility for the overall wireless network. You will actively seek out solutions to network faults and be heavily involved in proactively monitoring the network and making improvements where necessary. There will be an on call element to the role which will look like a team rota and you will be expected to be on call 2 weeks a month. A lucrative on call retainer is offered as well as enhanced call out rates when applicable. The ideal candidate will have worked within a Network Support position before on a 3rd line level and demonstrate their hands on ability in solving Network & Firewall related issues. You will have supported a Cisco environment ideally holding a CCNA certification and also have worked with Meraki. Experience with firewalls specifically Palo Alto will also be beneficial for the role.

As part of this role the on call element is non-negotiatable so you must be able to commit to this if successful.

This role is due to start in March 2021 and the successful candidate will be required to be on site so you will need to live within a commutable distance of the office site. This role is ideal for someone that is looking to progress their career within a large scale environment with opporutnity for progression.

The package for this role is in the region of £50,000 inclusive of on call allowance.
