What you will be doing…

The verification and audit of the configuration status of equipment and review of supporting documentation. The preparation and update of project Quality documentation during the full project lifecycle. Preparation for and running of acceptance activities including First Article Acceptance events and Factory Acceptance Testing. Report and undertake Quality investigations and Lessons Learned events as required. Internal and External audit for process, procedure and contract compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• The examination and interpretation of electronic data to verify configuration status.
• Collation of records in support of physical configuration audits and acceptance of hardware.
• Preparation of Quality Management System documentation under guidance of Quality Assurance staff.
• Liaison with customers and hosting acceptance events.
• Assistance to Quality team in preparation for external audits.
• Carrying out Quality audits (in-house and at suppliers/sub-contractors).
• Reporting to management any comments or suggestions which may improve efficiency, safety and costs.
• Carrying out any other duties that may be delegated by senior management that are commensurate with the conduct of the company's business.

What we are looking for...

• Background in Electrical / Electronic manufacturing.
• Ability to read drawings, wiring schedules and product specifications.
• Ability to correctly interpret contract documentation.
• Previous experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control role essential.
• Quality Assurance related qualifications such as C&G 743, IQA A3, Lead Assessor qualification, IQA Diploma in Quality Assurance or a suitable degree would be a distinct advantage.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Enthusiastic and proactive.
• Highly literate with good computer skills, MS Word, Outlook and Excel essential.
• Good analytical skills, clear and concise communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
