Lamonby Recruitment are recruiting for an Geo Environmental Engineer on behalf of our client, a leading Civil Engineering, Geotechnical and Environmental consultancy in the North West

The Geo Environmental Engineer will undertake the role of Assistant Contracts Manager will support in the management of contracts within the North West covering projects in ground investigation.

The successful candidate will hold a degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering Geology or similar and have a minimum 3 years’ experience within the ground investigation industry. 

A driving license and access to a car is essential.

Assistant Contracts Manager Role and Experience

• Support in the management of contracts within the North West covering projects in ground investigation.
• Day to day organisation and supervision of contract workload.
• Liaising and advising clients
• Tendering and Contract Documentation
• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Engineering Geology or similar
• Minimum 3 years’ experience within the ground investigation industry. Experience of geotechnical report writing including foundations, mining and earthwork assessments
• Phase 1 Desk Studies and Phase 2 ground investigations
• Conversant with BS5950/Eurocodes
• Competent supervising drill crews, logging soils, installation and monitoring gas groundwater standpipes and instrumentation
• A driving license and access to a car is essential

Assistant Contracts Manager Package

• £27,000 - £32,000 depending on experience
