Manufacturing & Logistics Manager

Our client is a global FMCG manufacturer looking to grow their team with a highly autonomous role, offering long term opportunities in a highly secure business.

The successful candidate will manage a team of around 25 employees from production operatives to warehouse and drivers. The site also has its own distribution which will be managed in this role.

Salary of a Manufacturing & Logistics Manager

Up to £32,000

Job Description of a Manufacturing & Logistics Manager 

• Ensure Health & Safety is maintained at the highest level.
• To ensure that all Employees are fully trained in all aspects of their role.
• Delivery of the weekly site production targets.
• To ensure daily customer deliveries are accurate and on time.
• Ensure factory planning & load maximisation & efficiencies are achieved.
• To develop and sustain a positive, continuously improving, customer focused culture at the site.

Skills & experience of a Manufacturing & Logistics Manager 

• Excellent people management skills, with the ability to influence and motivate people.
• Production or Logistics management experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally FMCG.
• Knowledge of safety, hygiene and quality systems.
• Experience of lean manufacturing principles.
