THE COMPANY:

A world-wide manufacturer of OEM automotive parts. Creating the highest quality components and selling them to customers throughout the UK and the rest of the world.

THE ROLE OF AN ASSISTANT PRODUCT MANAGER:

As an assistant product manager, you will be getting stuck into a huge variety of tasks and responsibilities. Supporting the product manager in their day to day role.

Some of the parts of your role will include:

• Catalogue / Cross-referencing
• Purchasing
• Administration
• Operational and stock control
• Range analysis / price filing / product info
• Technical enquiries / Warranty

Your role is pivotal within the business, ensuring that everything is running as smoothly as possible. The long-term plan for you is that you will progress into a product manager role.

EXPERIENCE IDEALLY REQUIRED FOR AN ASSISTANT PRODUCT MANAGER:

Coming from a similar background would be ideal although industry is not important as you will be fully immersed and trained in the products that you are dealing with.

Although there are some base level skills required, such as strong IT literacy and good excel knowledge, having an organised and hard-working ethic is essential.
