Job Description:
A leading investment financial services company based in the City of London are currently looking for a Background Check Analyst to join their Human Capital Management team.
Responsibilities
- Adjudicate pre-hire employment background checks
- Liaise with legal and compliance stakeholders to make hiring decisions
- Answer candidate questions about the background check process
- Review fingerprint search results with employees and internal security team
- Work closely with recruiting coordinators and hiring managers on background check process and specific issues
- Update background check results in internal HR information system
- Reporting: Create background check status reports
Skills
- Handle sensitive and confidential issues with complete discretion
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and professional demeanour
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Interact with various levels of clients and manage expectations
- Interact with all levels of employee and contingent worker candidates
- Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in HR, law, compliance, and/or document management necessary
