Area Sales Manager – Conveyors

An international company that manufacturers conveyors and components

Due to retirement next year my client is looking at recruiting an Area Sales Manager or Sales Engineer to take over from the Sales Manager of this division that will be leaving.

The role

As a brand name in this arena, you will spend time chasing leads and building your pipeline with end user clients and conveyor system manufacturers.

You will be happy in a boardroom discussing projects at senior level but also happy to go onto the shopfloor to discuss project requirements at this level too.

You will be supported by an internal sales team, that will assist with quoting and chasing.

This role is project and product sales, and you will need to be able to manage both.

This role will take over from the current Sales Manager once he retires next year.

The candidate

• Strong selling and negotiation skills
• Experience of Material Handling, Unit Handling or components into industrial automation
• Technically minded
• Leaving along the M1 corridor
• Able to prove sales growth
