West Sussex Location

£65,000 - £75,000 Depending on experience + 25 days contractual holiday, 2 additional days holiday that are not contractual plus UK bank holidays + Contributory pension scheme – 3% employer contribution, 5% employee contribution + Life Assurance 2 X annual salary

This is a brilliant opportunity for an experience Supply Chain Manager to join a busy fast paced industry ensuring supply chain KPI’s are met and building on strong relationships, you must have experience working in a Subcontract Electronics / EMS environment. Duties for the Global Supply Chain Manager will be:

  • Perform all commercial related subjects like pricing, contract management, rebates, supplier qualification and other activities to ensure the commercial development of strategic suppliers Own and manage overall Strategic supplier relationships while effectively resolving performance & capability issues to ensure alignment with our strategic direction.
  • Collaborate internally to drive and develop key performance measures/metrics for Strategic suppliers and monitor performance against these expectations to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the center of knowledge for assigned supplier category and share knowledge with key stakeholders and members of the category teams to enable more effective planning, forecasting and execution.
  • Utilise should-cost models for assigned categories that are benchmarked and relevant to the global marketplace.
  • Provide industry market intelligence and category price trends to relevant internal stakeholders on a disciplined schedule.

 

Skills and experience needed to be the successful Global Supply Chain manager will be:

 

  • Extensive experience in Procurement & Supply Chain in Electronics Management (1st priority) EMS would be an advantage, Engineering or Operation (2nd priority).
  • Commodity Experience in at least one of the following: PCB, Electronics Components, Metalwork (Folded, Machined, Cast), Plastic Moldings
  • Localising commodities in Asia or Eastern Europe.
  • Able to work independently or with a cross functional team.
  • Familiar with performance management techniques.
  • Experience working in a small global team with rapid growth plans.
  • Ability to lead without direct authority.
  • Experience working at executive levels both internally and externally.
  • Professional Procurement Certification – preferred.
