My Client is a leading Management Consulting firm, with offices globally. They have recently established a Risk transformation team and require an experienced Manager to help build the function to become another successful part of the business. 

The approach of the team links the regulation and risk agendas, positioning all compliance activity within the risk framework as a risk category alongside others such as liquidity risk, market risk and operational risk.  

The small team comprises of  individuals with extensive risk, regulatory and transformation experience across all industries and sectors. The primary focus will be:

1)    Risk Vision, Strategy & Emerging Risk

2)    Risk Framework & Operating Model

3)    Governance & Risk Culture 

The role covers a mix of proposition development, business development and project delivery.

The Manager will be expected to play a key role in all aspects of the practice:

 

The successful Manager will need to have the following essential skills:

  • Subject matter expertise in Risk Management frameworks, Risk Operating Model design and establishing Risk Culture.
  • Excellent knowledge and practical hands-on experience of risk governance, risk lifecycle, risk service models, risk capability models, risk management processes, risk RACI and organisational structure and risk technologies.
  • Strong Change & transformation experience, in a risk focussed project
  • A broad knowledge of the UK & EU risk and regulatory environment, including expertise in one or more sectors where you can identify opportunities for risk transformation projects.
  • Experience of working in a Consulting practice and understanding the roles required in an advisory capability
  • Experience of working on the design and delivery of regulatory solutions, with experience of methodologies and proposition frameworks, with a proven track record of supporting multi-disciplinary complex engagements.
  • The ability to develop strong client relationships and a track record of developing relationships
  • Proven track record of developing and upskilling teams of junior colleagues – team management from a development and upskill perspective.
