Job Description:
We are currently looking for Support workers within our Colchester supported living service that supports a gentleman on a 1-1 basis who has autism.
We always strive to promote independence, self-esteem, and person-centered care to provide support to our service users that respect their own choices, values, and preferences.
This gentleman needs 1-1 support throughout his day to day life, supporting him to access the community and supporting him throughout his day routine which must be followed.
Desirable qualifications and attributes:
– Experience with Autism and challenging behavior.
– Excellent communication skills.
– Compassionate, caring nature.
