Scientist 1 Analytical

Location Commutable from: Swindon, Cirencester, Chippenham, Newbury, Witney

6 Month Contract – potential for extension

Pay: £13.50 Umbrella rate  per annum

The Profile:

As the Scientist  you will be working within the analytical group laboratory team department .You will have previous experience or project management and analytical activities and have knowledge of Current Good Lab Practice. The successful Scientist – Analyst will ideally come from a pharmaceutical background,.

The Role:

The Scientist will be responsible for:

• Chromatographic
• Physical evaluation of pharmaceutical dose forms
• Degradation testing
• Validation testing
• Analytical testing to include: stability batch release, clinical batch release and method validation
• Helping on critical projects

Type of person:

We’re wanting to hear from Analytical Scientists who:

• Have proven industry experience in a laboratory – 1 year minimum
• Have gained qualifications within Chemistry/Pharmaceutical science or similar scientific field
• Literate and confident in reporting – writing SOP’s, stability protocols and technical reports
• Maintain open and honest relationships with team members and wider business
