Our client is a world leading organisation in building maintenance, engineering and facilities management services.

They have successfully been in business for over 25 years delivering technical solutions to the retail, commercial and industrial markets and have an array of large blue-chip clients across the UK.

One of their most successful sides of the businesses is their refrigeration commissioning division and they ever growing UK team, is looking for a Refrigeration Commissioning Engineer to join them in Glasgow covering the North region; Glasgow – North East – Barrow in Furness.
 
The successful candidate will undertake Refrigeration installation, commissioning and maintenance works alongside the Refrigeration Commissioning team and you will be working away from home from Sunday to Friday when the installation is further a field.

You will have at least 2 years’ experience installing and commissioning RDM and Carel equipment.

Your duties will cover the below and a proven track record is required: -

Delivery of Refrigeration installation, commissioning and maintenance works on site in compliance with the agreed project specification and within agreed timescales

Liaison with the Project / Installation Manager at all times striving to ensure that project works are delivered on time, snag free and to the agreed specification.

Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, procedures or instructions as they apply and to ensure that all colleagues and sub-contractors follow safe systems of work on site.

Striving to achieve snag free completion and where snagging occurs to ensure it is resolved within 6 working days.

Identification and resolution of repair, maintenance and installation issues that may affect project delivery.

There will be opportunities to work on the very latest in refrigeration technology.

From time to time, it may be required to work in other areas across the UK to cover during holiday periods and at times of high demand.

The successful candidate will have excellent technical knowledge and experience of working on refrigeration systems within the food retail sector: -

CO2 qualified

City & Guilds (2079) F – Gas

NVQ Level 3 (Refrigeration & Air Conditioning)

Installation of RDM and Carel equipment
