We are working for an innovative, leading fabrication and machining business who operate in a wide range of industries, in their search for a Lead Commercial Engineer/Estimator in a technical and customer facing role.

Salary of a Lead Commercial Engineer/Estimator

Up to £40,000

Job Description of a Lead Commercial Engineer/Estimator

• Provide clients with commercial quotations.
• Act as first point of contact for client queries & jobs.
• Reguarly visit and build relationships with existing clients.
• Offer technical and engineering assistance to clients to include; fabrication, welding, machining and design knowledge.

Skills & experience of a Lead Commercial Engineer/Estimator

• Minimum Time Served/HNC qualified Engineer, Welder, Fabricator, or Machinist.
• Experience of estimating and costing of customer jobs.
• Confident communicating with clients of all levels, while building and developing relationships.
• Experience of working in fast paced environments with a resilient attitude.
• Experience of working in an overhauls, fabrication, welding or machining environment.
