Salary of a Procurement Manager

Up to £50,000 depending on experience plus pension, private healthcare and use of a modern, fully equipped gym.

Job Description of a Procurement Manager

The Procurement Manager will take the lead in a small team ensuring appropriate processes are in place.  Guide and develop the team as well as identifying any training issues will be important.

This will be a challenging and complex environment and a broad procurement understanding across direct and indirect categories will be essential.

The post holder will develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders as well as working alongside Procurement teams at other sits in the group.

Budget responsibility will be at EUR 75 million

Skills & experience of a Procurement Manager

Previous experience from a similar position would be essential along with a demonstrable track record of successfully leading and developing a team.

Vendor management and contract negotiation experience is a pre-requisite and manufacturing exposure would be an immediate advantage.
