. Business Systems Analyst - Life & Pensions – NW & Remote

Experienced Systems Analyst is required by a Life & Pensions organisation that are growing through acquisition.

The programme of work comprises 8 projects of varying complexity delivering a new life insurance and annuities platform. In addition to the migration of the data from the legacy systems, the new platform needs to integrate with existing and new systems. There are about 20 integration pieces with a total of over 30 integration points that need to be delivered.

The role involves:

  • Understand and document current solutions
  • Analysing business requirements, and target architectures to produce fit-for-purpose solution designs
  • Being the lead on Proof of Concept work
  • Ensure designs follow agreed patterns and practices
  • Develop and refine design acceptance criteria

Skills & Experience:

  • Broad experience in systems analysis and design
  • Extensive experience and understanding of Life & Pensions industry
  • Strong understanding of function, process, systems and data flows
  • Strong understanding of Waterfall and Agile SDLC's
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Visio
  • Good understanding of system integration patterns and good general data skills
  • Ideally some Microsoft SQL Server skills
