A unique and excellent opportunity to work for an exclusive Client of mine has arisen in the Wolverhampton area. This position is needing someone who has drive and ambition to not only join a team, but someone who is looking for a long-standing career.

The role requires someone who is not only electrically biased but has a good sound knowledge of mechanical skills as well as the successful candidate will join a multi skilled team.

Location: Wolverhampton  
Shifts: 2 Shift Pattern (6:00-14:00 & 20:00-6:00)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a successful growing company, who is a leading manufacturer and a specialist within their industry who are looking for an Electrically Biased Maintenance Technician.

The Position:

I am looking for an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer to fulfil a permanent position, Heavy Industry experience would be very advantageous. This position would require not only someone who can work well within a team but someone who can work on their own and make necessary judgements.


Skills & Requirements:  

• Time Served – Full Apprenticeship (Electrically)  
• 17th/18th Edition qualified
• Exposure within a Heavy Industry
• Good PLC experience

• Industrial installations and maintenance experience (Advantageous)

Responsibilities:

• Assist in all maintenance activities on site
• Ensure factory production is maximised & downtime minimised
• Ensure reliability of plant and equipment is maintained
• Comply to all health and safety regulations
• Working with DC drives, Gas fired reheat furnaces, PLC controlled machinery & electric overhead cranes.
• Electrical repairs
• Fault Finding
• Preventive Maintenance
