Job Title: Traineeship Tutor / Assessor

Location: Leeds (face to face and remote delivery)

Salary: up to £28,000 + Benefits package

Type: Full time, Permanent

Duties Include: 

• Deliver Traineeships and Apprenticeship qualifications to learners via a blended approach of face to face, 1-1 and remote delivery
• Traineeship qualifications will encompass Functional Skills, Employability and a vocational pathway such as Customer Service and Business Administration
• Learners will progress from their Traineeship over to an Apprenticeship, which you will deliver, within the Business Admin and Customer Service vocations
• Carry out a thorough induction with IAG for learners onto their relevant qualification
• Review, mark, assess and give feedback on learner’s work
• Contribute to on-going development of schemes of work, lesson plans and support the development of an engaging learning model
• Monitor progress and manage learner attendance and time keeping.
• Book and invigilate tests  
• Prepare for EPA and ensure learners are supported to complete their assessment
• Take part in learner recruitment and business development activity to maintain own caseload

Essential Criteria:

• Recognised Assessors Award – CAVA, TAQA or equivalent.
• Ideally hold a teaching qualification such as PTLLS or above/equivalent (not essential).
• Must have experience of delivering Apprenticeship and Functional Skills qualifications
• Hold experience of delivering within a classroom and employer workplace environment
• Good level of occupational experience in Business Admin and Customer Service
• Excellent IT Skills
• Hold either Functional Skills Level 2 for Maths and English, OR GCSE grade A to C in Maths and English.
• Car owner and driver
