Connecting Talent to opportunity

Finance Manager

Expired

Job Description:

You're an FD in the making, what you lack is the platform to be able to showcase your skills. The way you see processes, the way you can analyse a P&L...it all shows glimpses of brilliance. Will anyone notice if all you're doing is showcasing moments of greatness? Will your FD even give you the credit??

So how do you make that jump? Right now, you're not ready to be an FD but given the right exposure, the right FD supporting and guiding you as well as some actual autonomy you know that you will be there in the next 2-3 years. Problem is, who is willing to give up the mantle so quickly? Most FD's are unlikely to leave as they struggle to find a role they can progress to, which means you have to be with the same business until they retire, or leave. Then, you need to pray that you won't be overlooked for an experienced FD brought over from another business.

Where would you find a business that will allow you to flourish, grow and be the hero of the finance team? In this case, you can find that business in the West Midlands.

This particular construction business is looking for an ambitious Finance Manager who isn't scared to roll their sleeves up and "do the do". You'll have the opportunity to implement new processes, be part of a structure that is looking to grow and more importantly, looking to develop it's people. You can also demonstrate your management skills. Helping an Assistant Accountant to become a real asset, creating a strong succession plan.

There's lots to be done and a very tight 3 year plan to get it all done. Backed by group, there is a big target to achieve and it requires the right commercially focused Finance Manager, who has the foresight of a Finance Director to see it through. The role will be challenging, sometimes tiresome but the thrill of seeing it all come together, combined with the ability to progress your own career will make it all worthwhile.

So...Is this something that you think you think you can get your teeth stuck in to? Is this the opportunity that you have been waiting for??
