Job Title: Mandatory Care Trainer / Tutor

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (Dependent on qualifications and experience)
 
Location: South of England - Must be flexible with travel
 
Type: Full Time, Permanent

Essential Criteria:

• Must hold a recognised teaching qualification e.g. PTLLS/AET, PGCE, CertEd (or above). 
• Recent experience of delivering mandatory care / refresher training courses on a 1:1 and group basis.
• Hold solid, occupational competency within Health and Social Care as a Care Assistant or above.
• Strong understanding of CQC requirements.
• Ideally have experience of delivering pre-apprenticeship / AEB training.
• Full, UK Driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Must be flexible with travel throughout the South East / South West of England.

Duties:

• Deliver mandatory training / refresher training courses within the Care industry to include: Health & Safety; Fire Safety; Infection, Prevention & Control; Manual Handling; Safeguarding for Adults & Children; Food Hygiene; Equality, Diversity & Human Rights.
• Training is usually delivered by a mix of 1:1 / face to face / online / group based delivery. 
• Creation and development of own course material content and resources for delivery sessions.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
• Support, advise and motivate learners.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs and keeping learner’s informed of their progress.
