Do you have experience working as an electrically biased maintenance engineer within food or fmcg environments?
Do you have experience working with flow wrappers, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, servo drives and inverters?
Are you apprentice trained and hold an NVQ level 3 in electrical engineering or maintenance?
Can you fault-find on PLCs such as Siemens, Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi?
Do you live within commutable distance to Nottingham City Centre?

I am recruiting for a role, close to Nottingham City Centre, for a large stable employer offering £39k for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to come and join their ranks!
The Company:
The company are a bakery who produce pies, they are an extremely large company with solid foundations and investment plans.
The Role:
The role includes lots of preventative work, as well as reactive work and continuous improvements. They have a CI Engineer on-site so your ideas will be listened to.
The work isn't complex, it is maintenance on flow wrappers, conveyors, gearboxes (SEW), servo drives, inverters, pneumatics and hydraulics. All of which are straight forward bits of kit for a seasoned maintenance engineer. Even the PLCs are easy to get your head around!
What They Need From You:
- NVQ L3 in Electrical Engineering or similar
- Apprenticeship served, focusing on Electrical Engineering/Electrical Principles
- Experience working in Maintenance in food or FMCG environments
- A can-do attitude. They need you to be independent and know exactly what you want to do and have a plan on how you will achieve it
- PLC knowledge is a bonus
