3-shift Monday - Friday, overtime paid at x1.5
The Company:
This FMCG based company have double in size during the Pandemic, they are building a brand new team of three having recently relied on contractors. The role will involve a mix of firefighting as well as a focus on PPM (brand new PPM schedule being implemented right now) and also project work – the environment is very automated. The types of machinery you will be working on are completely bespoke, you will also look after facilities/ancillary equipment such as pumps and chillers. A lot of the work involved will be mechanical, but you will need electrical competence also. Experience with PLC’s – looking at inputs/outputs is an essential requirement for this role. The environment is clean but can be dusty at times, so a dust mask is provided. You must also shower before your shift at work but this is paid at x1.5 before you start your shift.

Experience required:
- Have at least three year’s experience repairing and maintaining special purpose plant machinery as a maintenance engineer – multi-skilled ideally electrically biased
- Electrical certification is a MUST, this excludes wiring regs, You will need to hold a formal recognised electrical qualifications i.e. C&G or BTEC/NVQ
- Mechanically sound – change bearings, straps, belts (if this is a week point, this can be trained)
