The role requires previous inspections experience, the ability to collect and record accurate site data and excellent attention to detail. The majority of this role will be spent outdoors and travelling across the network in various weather conditions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform walked and driven highway inspections working alone and alongside others
• Completion of Highway Inspection Files
• Accurate Survey Records of Highway Assets
• Photographic Surveys of Highway Assets
• Completion of Video Survey Files
• Contribution to data required for SPI submission
• Contribution to inspection reports
• Ensure that all network related information is reported back to and relayed via The Hub

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• At least 2 years' experience of Highway Inspections
• C&G in Highway Safety Inspection Training and Assessment Programme (6033)
• Previous knowledge of London highway network would be advantageous
• Ability to collect accurate asset and defect information
• Ability to manage time and workloads to a strict inspection schedule
• Possess a personal fitness level to be able to spend the majority of the role outdoors
• Possess competent IT skills including the ability to adapt to various software and hardware
• Full UK driving licence
