Practice Manager


Job Description:

We are offering a fantastic opportunity for a Practice Manager to join a well-established and forward-thinking dental practice in York.

The surgery has a great reputation for its patient care and aims to provide a supportive environment for the development of all their dental team.

The role

  • Great competitive salary!! £31,000 per year (depending on experience)
  • Full-time position available
  • Monday to Friday role
  • From 09:00 – 17:00 with 1hour lunch
  • This is a great opportunity for those who have good knowledge of CQC Standards, clinical governance, Denplan and NHS but not essential!
  • Excellent opportunities and progression to grow and develop your skills
  • To run effectively the clinic financially managing costs and identifying opportunities to make improvements
  • Good Knowledge of P&L, KPI’s and budget planning
  • Supervising all banking procedures, including deposits, payments, reconciliation and debt management
  • To support practices and staff in managing complaints and incidents and encourage an open learning environment that promotes good quality patient care;
  • Carry out Dentist 1-2-1’s and ensure a high level of engagement through peer reviews.
  • Line management responsibility for dental receptionists and dental nurses, including responsibility for appraisal and personal development
