LSA’s / Learning Support Assistant’s needed for a SEND school in North Tyneside from January 2022

A SEND school in North Tyneside are looking for experienced LSA’s / Learning Support Assistant’s to help support children aged between 16 and 25 years. The right LSA needs to have extensive experience working with Autism and PLMD and MUST feel comfortable providing personal care if ever needed.  

The position is full time and is to commence from January 2022. Suitable LSA’s must have a child/adult DBS or be willing for us to get them one.

As a Learning Support Assistant you will ideally need to be:

• A team player
• Level 2 in Support Teaching and Learning (or equivalent/higher) Qualified
• Minimum of 6 months school experience
• Able to adapt to all environments
• Have experience working in SEND schools
• Extensive experience working with Autism and PLMD
• Comfortable providing personal care
