Maintenance Engineer (Days) - 45k - 9 hour days (5 days a week - Range of working days) - EARLY & LATE options 

With a generous basic salary of 45k and the potential to earn another 7k in overtime, all while working a days shift on a 9 hour day based in Merton. 

Due to promotion and internal movements within the business we are looking to hire multiple multi skilled maintenance engineers into our bakery engineering team. We have a variety of shift patterns to choose from and can be flexible on start times depending on the rota chosen. We are looking for a multi skilled engineers who can deliver in both mechanical and electrical issues, dealing with both preventative and reactive tasks. The successful individual will have experience within the food industry or have a clear understanding of the health regulations that comes with a hygiene environment, such as from the pharmaceutical industry also.

As a forward thinking business continuous improvement is also something we would like the successful engineer to have experience with, an individual who enjoys finding and resolving issues but also suggesting alternative solutions to improve efficiencies within the production facility. PLC experience will also be a benefit however not essential, although this will only be to fault find and not to programme.

Communication within this role will be essential to liaise with the engineering and production team to support collaborative working and allowing to share best practice across the production facility. Naturally something we hold in high regard is health and safety within the production environment and upholding these standards throughout all working practices, so all experience implementing health and safety practices and a general understanding of H&S procedures is great.
