Quantity Surveyor/ Senior Quantity Surveyor - Bristol

An exciting and challenging opportunity has become available to join this well-established Construction Consultancy in the Bristol area, working on projects primarily across the South-West. This company work across a diverse range of projects within the built environment, including commercial, residential, healthcare and education to name a few relevant sectors.

They are now looking to add a Quantity Surveyor to the team, either at Mid or Senior level.  The successful candidate will meet the below requirements and driven to always deliver excellent results, the role will have minimal supervision so you must be a self-starter who is capable of working independently when required whilst tackling problems head on.

They describe the ideal person as being “Entrepreneurial” and someone who is keen to establish themselves within the business, with quick progression to Senior or Associate level very achievable.  

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years’ commercial experience as a Quantity surveyor either with a contractor or consultancy (open to both).
• Strong knowledge of the built environment, ideally with an educational background relevant to Quantity Surveying.
• Ability to maintain budget control, produce valuations, communicate with various departments and build strong working relationships with clients.
• Some experience in the following sectors (or mix of these) would be great to see on your CV: Commercial, residential, healthcare, education, leisure, energy and hotels.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Able to work from the Bristol office and comfortable with regular travel to project and client sites.
• Full clean driving licence and use of your own vehicle.

Expected salary for this position is £35,000 - £55,000 basic (dependant on experience) and a number of other benefits. This position is a permanent role so the client is looking for someone who wants a stable and progressive future within the business.
