An new role has become available for a maintenance operative ideally with a joinery bias to join an exceptionally fast growing team. You will be working within the private rented sector carrying out scheduled works to domestic properties within Manchester and surrounding areas. The ideal maintenance operative will have previous experience within a maintenance operative role, be reliable, well organised and comfortable carrying out a range of duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out scheduled works to the appropriate time frames
• Basic maintenance work
• Joinery work on residential properties
• Updating the maintenance systems
• Making the manager and coordinator aware of any issues that may arise on the job or within the properties
• Collecting keys and travelling to different properties
• Working with the wider team and other maintenance operatives on jobs
• Ad hoc work that may arise

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Strong level of maintenance experience
• Ability to work alone
• Highly organised and able to work to timeframes
• High levels of integrity and reliability
• Ideally worked within a maintenance division for an estate agency or large company
