Job Discription and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be required to perform tasks suitable to the internal level of this role. The role will contain, but will not be limited to, the following:

§ Producing Failure Modes and Effects Analysis with associated Preventive Maintenance task recommendations, based on new Functions or Failure Modes extracted from the Reliability Programme, or introduced by the National Design Authority.

• Assisting with the upkeep of the UK Operators Maintenance Programme
• Supporting the RCM Practitioners in the Operators Maintenance Programme team in the production and development of the approved data sets by delivering quality RCM analyses and supporting internal/external stakeholder relationships of the UK Typhoon

The Individual

• Military Aircraft Systems specifically Eurofighter Typhoon
• Military Preventive Maintenance process, procedure and regulations
• Part M responsibilities
• Ability of delivering quality RCM analyses with minimal supervision
• Facilitating RCM studies as directed by the OMP Team Lead to assigned timeline
• Use of MS Excel to extract and manipulate relevant evidence data
• Use of Engica Q4w RCM Toolset
• NVQ Level 3 in an engineering discipline
• Formal Reliability Centred Maintenance Recognition

You will have a detailed knowledge of Def Stan 00-45 and JAP(D)100C-22, as well as a good understanding of other international RCM standards including MSG-3 and ASD S4000P and be able to apply the methodology across any system or structure on a Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft type using Failure Modes and Effects Analysis on Engica Q4w Toolsets. General aircraft Systems knowledge and the application of Preventive Maintenance within the UK Defence industry required.

The candidate must be good with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook
