Tutors needed for our schools in Middlesbrough

Hello Education are recruiting for Tutors to assist and support secondary school students in core subjects such as English, Science and Maths.

Do you have experience tutoring secondary school children?

Are you passionate, supportive, and driven?

Do you have experience working with students 1:1 across these subjects and others?

This role will include small group work and 1:1 work, therefore it is essential the right candidate can create positive relationships to overcome any barriers the students may have of learning. Moreover, you will be expected to provide educational, emotional, and behavioural support during the stressful periods of exams.

The school are looking for proactive, motivated, and passionate tutors who are eager to work with children and improve their education.

These tutoring positions are available on a full time or part time basis.

To be part of this team you will ideally need to have:

• Minimum of 3 months school experience or tutoring work
• The ability to adapt to all environments
• Experience working in a SEND environment or experience with Mental Health Support
• Be able to create a fun and creative approach to learning
• ICT literate
• Hold a recognised teaching qualification at level 3 or above such as PTLLS, AET or Cert Ed.
