Job Description:
Our client are looking to recruit a TIG welder to join their site based in Wombourne. They are a leading manufacturer of nurse call systems, fire alarm and prison alarm systems.
Main duties of the TIG welder will involve
- Thin gauge welding 1.5mm - mild steel and stainless
- Grinding
- Other associated duties
Hours of work are 16:00 - 00:00
The role will involve 2 hours TIG welding and 2 hours grinding, rotating throughout the day a maximum of 4 hours grinding and welding each day.
The role will be welding surface mounted boxes and the finish will need to be of a high standard.
This role is expected to become permanent after a successful trial period and overtime is available and paid at a premium.
