2 x Teaching Assistants/TA’s needed for KS2 at a school in North Tyneside

Hello Education are currently recruiting for two Teaching Assistants for a school in North Tyneside to assistant children in Key Stage Two/KS2.

The TA/Teaching assistant must be able to support children with their work so knowledge on the national curriculum is desirable and experience assisting children with SATS is desirable.

The head teacher is seeking for friendly, bubbly, self-motivated staff who can work in a positive environment to help students strive. The right candidates must be passionate about supporting and assisting children in learning.

The positions are full time (37.5 hours a week) and for term time only (195 days) to start in September 2022.

To be part of this team you will ideally need to have:

• Level 2 or 3 CACHE Teaching Assistant Qualification or minimum of 6 months experience
• Experience working with primary aged students
• The ability to assist and support children with literacy and numeracy
• Confidence in working and supporting children with complex needs
• Experience of working in a complex setting
• An updated DBS and right to work within the UK
• Ability to help teachers plan lessons and assist with delivery
• Be able to monitor students working
• Prepare resources for teachers and set out the classroom as expected
• Liaise with parents and other members of staff
• Be a first aider at school
